==========
This coffee place kept showing up on my feed. As it turns out, it’s owned by one of the staff from a workshop I attended last year. I’ve been meaning to check it out as soon as I could to try it and show my support, but the location was a bit out of the way for me, so I never got around to it. After more than a year of hoping to finally try it, the opportunity came last Thursday.
I was around ETON Centris that day, and since their nearest branch was in South Gandia, I figured I’d just walk there since I was in the mood to explore anyway. I don’t really get to visit this part of QC often, so I just went ahead. The place is a bit far from the MRT station where I was at, but I actually enjoyed the walk. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet, and I came across a bunch of small businesses along the way. It was actually a nice little break from the usual city noise.
I already knew the setup wasn’t a full shop where you can actually dine in. It’s just a small pop-up booth located inside a car wash. You really have to go inside and head toward the back to find it.

🏢DESIGN
The aesthetic of their booth and logo also stood out. While most cafés go for earthy colors like greens and browns, theirs was blue and white, kind of like Zus Coffee, which makes them stand out from others.
😋 TASTE
I ordered their Dumbo Latte, which I assume is their bestseller. I was surprised on the first sip, as it was a lot sweeter than I expected. I even asked the staff if they got my order wrong because lattes are usually on the bitter side because they are just a combination of coffee and milk. But she explained that it’s their own version of a Spanish latte, and the sweetness comes from the condensed milk they use.
After a few more sips, I started to appreciate it more. Even though it was sweet, the coffee flavor was still there, which I liked. I’ve had lattes before where the milk overpowers the coffee itself, which makes you think if you're just drinking regular milk, but this one still had that coffee flavor.
🧭 LOCATION
Their location might seem odd at first, but come to think of it, it actually works! While customers at the car wash wait for their cars to be cleaned, they can hang around while enjoying their coffee. Which means that they have a steady flow of customers.
💸 PRICE & SERVICE
Prices were reasonable, and the staff were friendly, which always makes the experience even better.
📋CONCLUSION
Overall, I think Dumbo Coffee is a good choice, especially for people who aren’t regular coffee drinkers. The sweetness makes it easy to enjoy, and it’s a nice drink to have while walking around the area. Plus, they also have some snacks if you want something on the side. So if you get the chance to pass by the area, why not give this one a try?
