🏢DESIGN

Café Giya is a pet-friendly café, so you’ll often see dogs playing along the grass. The indoor area is quite small, but they have a separate section reserved for special events or private bookings. The al fresco dining area is set back from the edge, so if you’re aiming for scenic shots, you’ll need to walk a few steps to the end of the space. Otherwise, photos from your table may still capture rocks in the foreground.

😋 TASTE

I ordered their Chicken Tenders with Potato Wedges, and the plating alone shows how much effort they put into presentation—something that matches the saying, “people eat with their eyes first.” The taste didn’t disappoint either. For my drink, I had a latté, which I found almost similar in taste to Starbucks—a compliment in my book.

🧭 LOCATION

While the café offers an al fresco space, the seating layout means the best views aren’t directly from the tables; you’ll need to walk closer to the edge for the most scenic photos.

💸 PRICE & SERVICE

The menu is concise and not overwhelming. While the food is on the pricier side, the quality justifies the cost. Orders are presented beautifully, and from what I observed, other customers’ meals were plated with care as well.

📋CONCLUSION

If there is something that I could suggest here, is that I wish they offered bigger drink sizes. The café could also benefit from more than one comfort room, especially given the number of customers they accommodate.

Compared to the last two cafés I visited, Café Giya is the busiest, with many customers arriving in groups. I would return mainly for their high-quality food and unique menu offerings—not so much for the view. Still, I recommend visiting so you can experience it firsthand and decide for yourself.
