🏢DESIGN

What drew my attention as soon as I walked through the door was their furnishings and décor. This specific coffee shop has a tropical vibe about it, in contrast to other coffee shops that we often see, which tend to have a more comfortable setup with brick walls as their setting, soft music, and dim lighting. With this one, you get the impression that you're lounging on a beach somewhere because of the color scheme, artificial plants, and walls that either look like wood or plain blank canvases painted in off-white or creamish hues. Additionally, one of the main factors that makes this place stand out is that the lighting is bright, and despite it being located along EDSA, you wouldn't hear the outside noise.

The background music is another element that sets this place apart. Their playlist is more lively than the usual sound you hear from others, which typically aims to help you unwind and think. Here, it is more groovy and pop-oriented, giving the impression that you are instantly transported back to the 1980s.

😋 TASTE

For my meal, their Tuna Melt Baguette (Php 195.00) was simple but tasty. For my drink, I chose a flat white (Php 180.00) because they do not offer lattes on their menu, which is what I usually order. Even though it has a milkier taste than I prefer, it nonetheless does its job.

🧭 LOCATION

Although the establishment is situated near the bustling EDSA, it still manages to isolate itself from the commotion, giving you a moment of peace and quiet.

💸 PRICE & SERVICE

The prices may be a little on the higher side, but the ambiance makes up for it. One area where I believe they need to make improvements is with their employees—not that they were rude or unprofessional, but they lacked the welcoming, cheerful energy that the store’s vibe suggests.

📋CONCLUSION

Overall, my dining experience was good. I can still recommend this coffee shop if you’re looking for a new spot to hang out or get some work done. Despite its location along a busy street, it offers a surprisingly relaxing escape.
