(when you find someone who challenges you being a social climber...)
(originally posted 9.17.2023)
Bilang conscious na ko sa kinakain ko, I try my best to find alternatives sa mga nakasanayan kong kinakain. And of them is dairy.. Well, no one told me naman na bawal saken ang dairy pero I still try to watch my intake nevertheless..
So eto na..
Since di naman ako sosyal na tao and di naman coffee-addict, first time ko susubok na itanong sa barista if there's a possibility to substitute the milk in my latte to soymilk..(sabi sa google, any starbucks naman may ganitong option) so... I set my mind that next time I'll be ordering at starbucks, that's what I'll ask.
When my turn came at the counter, the barista greeted me with so much enthusiasm and eagerness WITH PERFECT AMERICAN ACCENT.. Like the enunciation, the intonation is VERY GIVING..
At first, I told myself, "Nagpapasikat ba to?, di ba nya alam na may call center experience ako ng 5 years?"
Gagantihan ko sana ng American slang eh kaso napangunahan ako ng intimidation kaya ang nasabi ko na lang...
"One tall Iced Americano"
No milk needed, End of conversation.
